Join picturebook team Jon Klassen and Mac Barnett via Zoom for a festive celebration with Children’s Books Ireland!

Children’s Books Ireland International Conference alumni Jon Klassen and Mac Barnett are joining us live via Zoom for a pre-Christmas celebration! Why not come along?

One of the most-missed events of this year for everyone at Children’s Books Ireland has been our Annual International Conference. Both Jon and Mac were two of our most popular speakers, their sessions in 2013 and 2015 respectively spoke to the magic of storytelling, the power of the young reader and the importance of creativity in all of our lives.

Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen have made five books together: Sam and Dave Dig a Hole, Extra YarnTriangleSquare and Circle. Mac is a New York Times-bestselling author whose books for children have sold more than one million copies in the United States and have been translated into over 30 language. Jon is the creator of the much-acclaimed Hat trilogy, which includes I Want My Hat Back, the Kate Greenaway and Caldecott Medal winner This Is Not My Hat and We Found a Hat. They both live in California, USA, but in different cities. Jon is from Canada, Mac is not.

Find Mac online at macbarnett.com and on Twitter and Instagram as @macbarnett, and Jon online at burstofbeaden.com and on Twitter as @burstofbeaden.

Grab a drink, settle in and expect some inspiring and entertaining yarns from this creative duo!

Your €5 entry entitles to to a free raffle entry, you’ll be in with a chance to winning a fantastic book bundle just in time for Christmas! Postage within the Republic of Ireland only.
