Free To Be Me reading guide 2025
Introducing the latest companion publication to our Free To Be Me: The Diversity, Inclusion and Representation Reading Guide! Updated for 2025, this booster guide contains 100 new Free To Be Me-themed titles for primary-school-aged children aged 4–12.
This supplementary guide has been designed to accompany our original 2021 publication. With some books now out of print, and lots of new relevant titles available, we felt it was time for some updates!
This new themed guide features stories that celebrate diversity, representation and inclusion – where every child can see themselves reflected and celebrated within the pages of a book. Every child has the right to be free to be themselves. We hope that this collection of excellent books will inspire connection and conversation in our youngest citizens and empower them to create a more equitable future for all.
