The Doomsday Club: Bog Bodies

Jack, Conan, Yash and Jerry are back again for the second installment of Kevin Moran’s adventure packed Doomsday Club series. Things are finally getting back to normal for the boys after their adventures with the demonic Mr Kilroe and their shapeshifting friend Rucht. However, it quickly becomes clear that this peace will be short-lived as Conan and then Jack begin to have disturbing nightmares and hallucinations of the bog.

When the boys embark on a class trip to Inis Fola with a neighbouring co-ed school, they thought that their biggest challenges would be navigating life outside Dublin and trying to talk to girls. Little did they know that a local legend of an undead ruler and a life-sucking bog would set them on course for another life-threatening adventure.

The Doomsday Club: Bog Bodies is a thrilling, fast-paced novel that takes the reader on a deep dive into Irish mythology as the boys fight to save their classmates, teachers, and new friends. They must rely on their strengths and each other as they realise that the adults are not going to be able to pull them out of this mess.

This book will appeal to readers who enjoy stories of unlikely friendships with humour, mysteries, and plenty of action. A comprehensive introduction also means that you can jump in at book two, but you will definitely be left wanting to go back to book one for more adventures from The Doomsday Club.
