The Lit Are Coming To CBI’s Conference!

Waterford’s The Lit and their young writers, are coming to Children’s Books Ireland’s Festival Belonging this September to share their work with us.

An annual festival, now on their third year, dedicated to providing new voices a place to share their love of reading and writing, The Lit is a fantastic event. Started by a group of 14-19 year olds who noticed there were no festival for teens set up by young people and decided to fix the problem for themselves, this is a truly unique festival.

Offering a number of wonderful workshops from a group of talented writers, the Lit is an excellent event for any aspiring young writer looking for an unconventional take on the world of creative writing.

We are thrilled to have people behind The Lit speaking at our conference this year, and to be able to use our platform to promote a festival by and for young people within the world of books. Make sure you don’t miss what this amazing group of young people have to say!

For a full list of speakers, check out our conference flyer!

Book your tickets for the conference, on the 21st and 22nd of September, now!
