This delightfully illustrated book is about babies and the funny and endearing early sounds they make. With a button on each page to press – six in total – there are lots of realistic sounds.
This book’s strength is ways to communicate with your infant. On each page there are rhymes and tips on how to engage with your baby, which are kept simple, positive and practical.
The babies represented are diverse against bold, bright and beautifully designed backgrounds of soft colours. Tested on a 10-month-old baby with older siblings of five years, the baby enjoyed repeating the ‘raspberry’ sound while the siblings enjoyed pressing the sound button for the baby. The sound is spelt on the page in bold letters in big and playful font. This battery-operated book has a very sturdy feel to it and is big enough to hold with baby and siblings.
