Chandhok is one of only two Indian drivers to ever drive in Formula One, putting him in a very elite club. His family are somewhat motor sport royalty, and he explains this throughout the opening chapters of the book. Chandhok goes on to also mention one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time – Sir Lewis Hamilton, who is the only black Formula One driver in the history of the sport. The emergence of women in the sport is also a point discussed by the author, as only two women have ever driven in a Formula One race. However, with new initiatives and focus on women drivers – this hopefully won’t be the case for much longer as indicated in the book.
