Irelandopedia: Colours

Irelandopedia Colours gives families an opportunity to explore colours in both English and in Irish.

While the primary focus is on the colours depicted, there is further opportunity to talk about the objects on each page, adding to the potential for vocabulary building. The bilingual aspect of the text is a bonus. Families can choose one, or both, languages to explore with their little ones. When little readers have amazed everyone with their knowledge of colours they can further impress with being able to name the objects.

Kathi and John Burke’s boardbook is perfect for little hands to hold and sturdy enough to allow toddlers free reign to explore. Sure to be a favourite with babies and toddlers and, along with the other titles in the series will be an excellent addition to the family bookshelf.
