Sally and Faolan cannot remember life before they arrived in The Land. Though accepted by the community who live there, Faolan struggles to fit as the forest and its wolves are calling to him. Meanwhile, Sally does what she can to ensure that they fit in with the people of the Homestead, often frustrated by the responsibility that being the older sibling brings, especially when her brother resists her encouragements to blend in with their new community.

Tromop’s beautiful illustrations are well placed throughout the story complementing the narrative without overpowering the reader’s own visualisation of the story. The third book in the Wolfstongue Saga series, The Forest Yet to Come also works as a standalone read that will be enjoyed by young fans of the Fantasy genre.
