When their friend Benji refuses to believe that Pablo and Splash’s time-traveling stories, the duo must travel back in time to prove him wrong. Heading back to Ancient Rome, they hope to bring something back as proof of their adventures. But while in Ancient Rome, they come across an emperor who likes collecting exotic birds. Will the quick-thinking penguins be able to come home safe and sound?
This is such a fun book. With amazing illustrations and facts about Ancient Rome throughout the book, readers can learn while they read. An incredibly funny book, this reviewer was laughing at some of the antics of Pablo and Splash – they are often at odds with one another, but somehow find a way to come back to each other.
Highly recommended, this is perfect for reluctant readers as well as those who love graphic novels.
